Our commitment
Vivah Kalash strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any sexualization of minors. We comply with applicable child-protection laws, including India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
An adults-only platform
Vivah Kalash is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over seeking marriage. Minors are not permitted to create or operate a profile. We enforce a minimum age of 18 when a profile is created, and any account found to belong to a person under 18 is removed.
How we prevent and detect abuse
Every photo uploaded to Vivah Kalash is manually reviewed by our moderators before it becomes visible to anyone else. Moderators are trained to flag mismatches between a stated age and apparent age, and to escalate any content that may involve a minor. Profiles and accounts that violate this policy are removed.
Reporting child safety concerns
Anyone can report a profile or content directly inside the app using Report (with categories including inappropriate photos and abusive behaviour) or Block. Reports reach our moderation team for review.
To report a child-safety concern directly, email our child-safety contact at support@vivahkalash.com. If you believe a child is in danger, also contact your local authorities. In India, you can report online abuse to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or your local police.
How we respond
We investigate every child-safety report. Where a violation is found, we remove the offending content and account, and we preserve and report information to the relevant authorities as required by law.
